Eventually the screeching stops after a few minutes, especially bad when a light load. Belt? Roller? I can't find info on parts for this 13 year old dryer. An exploded view maybe?

Thanks in advance for any aid...

You can get a dryer maintenance kit that replaces the Rollers, Belt and idler pulley. That should fix up your problem. While you have the tub out check the felt going around the tub itself make sure it isn't scuffed up.

The part number is 4392065 Dryer repair kit Very inexpensive , anywhere between 30-50 dollars ..depending where your at and pretty easy to install.

You can get it at any local parts house or order from searspartsdirect.com
