Refrigerator Quality - Are GE Refrigerators As Well Built as Haier Refrigerators

I live in a CCRC (continuing care retirement community) that opened its doors 30 years ago. I live in a duplex cottage. It was remodeled before I moved in and came with a GE GDE21ESJRSS refrigerator. We find it a much noisier fridge than the 10-year-old fridge in the house we sold.

Are appliances made by the GE division of Haier known to be less well made and noisier than those sold under the Haier flagship brand.

Is there a reliable, quiet refrigerator currently being sold that is in the same price range as 2020's GE refrigerators?

thanks

Disclaimer: I'm just s squirrel looking for an acorn. I'm not a certified professional.

I don't know the answer to this but my first thought is the noise could be from many different things but could be as simple as something on the the condensor fan or evaporator fan.

If it's crackling that could be something else. If it's making a dripping noise that's something else.  Maybe you're hearing the ice break free from the ice maker and shoot into the bin. Ours really does very forcefully break free from the maker often and it sounds like ice is being launched at the wall of the freezer.  I think there's a fair chance it really is.

Describe the noises if you can.
