My wife started complaining about periodic loud clunks during the cycle. Running the diagnostic cycle. I think I've isolated it to something locking up at the start of the spin cycle. Clutch? Everything else seems OK is this transition typically a loud sound? I can add / link to a brief video if needed.

Yes some of them can be loud during the transitions.  Is it possible you could record a video when it is making the noise and post it to the thread for clarification?

Sorry... Stick for a day there.

I made a couple quick videos of odd sounds. The first is a grinding noise on acceleration in the spin cycle.

The second is a click at the beginning of the spin cycle. It varies in volume.

Hopefully these are nothing and we're just listening too closely. We've had huge issues with our newer fridge and my wife is appliance concerned. I do work with her too keep the weight off the loads lower to keep from overloading the washer. Hopefully I haven't missed the boat and caused an issue.

Thanks,

This may be a little confusing. I'm one of the early members of the dojo and the page ended up signing me into my old profile when I posted the videos. Those are the videos of my problems.

I got the videos posted. For some reason my old Dojo ID is back so I'm posting with two IDs

Good morning @marcva, I apologize I was out of pocket this weekend, out with the family and didn't get on my phone much. Though they are loud , and maybe amplified by the acoustics in the laundry room. The click and changing of the gears is normal. Especially the door lock when it engages, that thing will make your soul jump out if your not expecting it lol . some unit's have a white insulator underneath the washer to help dampen the sound. I don't know if there is one underneath this one. The installers may have thrown it away or this model didn't get one.

Thank you for posting the videos

Daniel
