I have a gas Ge Oven ( jgrc16gel3bg) with a constant beeping and f1 code. The dial for the temperature control also fluctuates on its own. Should I just purchase the control module or what? Any guideance is appreciated. Thank You!

Did you look for the tech sheet?  A Jedi at one with the Force does not order expensive parts without isolating the the problem 1st..

I did look but there was none to be found.

If you can't find the cleverly-hidden tech sheet anywhere in your range, you'll need to order a new one from GE for a few bucks. There's no getting around it-- you'll need the tech sheet and the schematic.

While you're waiting for the tech sheet, go ahead and test the oven sensor: http://fixitnow.com/2003/02/appliance-tip-of-day-oven-temperature.htm
