Hello all,

Was hoping someone out there might have some insight with a dishwasher issue I am having.

I have a Whirlpool wdt710pah dishwasher that has worked great for the last 5 years since purchasing new.

I tried to use the dishwasher this morning and nothing was lighting up on the panel.I was finally able to get the display to light up by pressing the cycle options button but still unable to start a cycle once the start/resume button was pressed.

Stuff I checked/confirmed:-Unit is getting power per control board lighting up.-Unit is receiving water as sink next to it is working fine.-Checked drain/filter and clear of obstructions-Checked placement of dishes and no obstructions.-Control Lock is not active as it is not lit up. Tried pressing this button 3+ seconds andnothing happened.-Delay button is not engaged.

**Observations:**Once I am able to get the display to light up by pressing the 'cycles' button, all of the lights eventually turn off after approx 10 seconds. I believe this is normal if dishwasher is not started.

I believe that only the 'cycles' and 'delay' buttons may be working and accepting input. The'Heated Dry' and Hi-Temp Wash' buttons light up depending up the cycle selected however do not change status per touching them. The 'Start/Resume' button has also not activated anything.

Troubleshooting I tried:-I tried to get the unit to engage in diagnostic/maintenance mode buy pressing 3 randombuttons 3x times in a row in under 8 seconds. I was unable to get this to activate after trying many combinations, many times.

Any other suggestions for a possible reset?

Thank you kindly for your time!

Jay
