lots of times speed queen parts are serial number sensitive , so don't go by the lookups like sears , etc.....    they will mess you up !

I don’t know yet, I was mostly looking for entering diagnostics in case I have too. The washer is still under warranty so I imagine Speed Queen will send the part!

Thank you for this valuable information @evaappliance Much appreciated! If I need you again I will holler!

i don't think they will send a part , if i were you i would contact speed queen 1st,  or pass on the call . it is very much in warranty so unless you have permission from speed queen it could mess up 4 years of warranty for the customer.  that being said ,  the diagnostics is a little crazy for all of us , you have to see which lights are flashing and how many times, at best most of the time it heads you in the general direction . you have to catch it in the act though , they do not store codes. ( they have heard about not storing them from me many times )   what was the issue the customer is having ? if you want to take the call ,maybe we can go at it from that angle

The issue turned out to be a clogged cold water valve @evaappliance There was a film of some sort covering the screen. The Cx stated the steel lined hose was packaged in plastic. She said it was probably a piece of the hose wrapping. She also stated the kids who installed it were idiots 😂

Thank you @evaappliance for all your assistance. Tomorrow I’m hitting up Speed Queen to be a warranty tech. I think the closest Speed Queen tech is in Benson Az on I-10. I live in Silver City New Mexico.

🤣  unfortunately this happens a lot  !!!!!!     Well water is always a bad deal  !!   I don’t think you will regret signing up with speed queen,  95% of the calls are very easy ,+ speed queens are built to last for years so when you take care of someone under warranty, they will be a cash customer for a long time after !
