Hello.

I have a customer that is complaining about her calypso washing machine leaving grease spots on her clothes. I know on regular top load washers, this could be excess detergent that has built up on the outer tub causing grease-looking spots. However, not having a whole lot of experience with the calypsos, I was wondering if it could be the same problem, or if grease could actually be getting on the clothes from the seal under the nutater.

Has anyone else run into this particular problem with the crapypso?

The boot or seal around the u-joint may have failed. This allows soapy water to get in and the grease to get out. Probably needs the U-Joint kit installed, it's not a bad job. The kit has everything you need.
