Hi,

Replacing Heater Element in this Dryer and tested Thermostat as good.

Was going replace everything but Thermostat is expensive and test good???

Does anyone know how long these Thermostats last, mine is 7 years old in a 2 person Household?

Same question? Is it a good idea to skip on the thermistor and other sensors if they test good? Costs on parts are going up, and the customer is more likely to take the repair if I quote just the heater.

The whole heater assembly makes the job easier and it includes the thermostat..

As to how long the thermostat lasts: Theoretically,  it should last a long time, since it not supposed to cycle.  But theydo sell the assembly which includes it. I always go assembly on Samsungs. @Samurai Appliance Repair Man advice from way  back.
