Kenmore Washer 110.26722693 won't spin / agitate

Got an oldie but good direct drive that won't spin or agitate, makes horrible noise, but not grinding.   Took off machine cover, drain pump works fine, motor works fine, coupler good.  thought it may be transmission, hooked up to motor it spins.   Clutch looks good (can barely move it with my fingers if it exert a ton of pressure.)      Stuck brake? something under the tub?

I'm hoping someone can identify by noise, video attached of the noise.  Gotta get a 4 pronged tub wrench to take out the tub, but if anyone has a guess or can provide any help i'd appreciate it.  i can do a better video if something specific is needed to be seen.

Are you sure about the coupling ?  Look at the motor shaft where it goes into the coupling

If it’s not agitating something under the tub won’t be the issue

Did you remove the motor to check the coupler or just look from under the machine at it.

If you didn't remove the motor to check it - it very well could be one of the coupler halves stripped out, not physically broken in half or prongs broke off.

As @evaappliance said, you need to check the motor shaft for rounding off - seeing too much of this lately with the metal insert couplers.

took motor completely out during the testing, a few times.  all 6 pins (3 on each side ) are good, rubber circle is good.  Shaft isn't  rounded, then took out transmission and had it hooked up to motor extenally to watch it spin it.  i'll go take everything apart again, getting pretty good at it, can dismantle everything in 5 minutes :)

i'll post pics later today.. thanks for the suggestions and i'll triple check.

Well y'all were correct,  i guess i only looked at the coupler that attaches to the transmission for roundness, and not the side attached to the motor (the motor one also had all the prongs still in good shape) but yep the one on the motor was rounded out.    Jeez i really appreciate your answers and making me look again, i was so frustrated last weekend and took 5 minutes to fix today.  Love appliances that are this easy to take apart.
