The flat rate manual is about $149.00 ...so I just made up my own, which is what you would have to do with the book anyway to adjust for your area...perhaps someone else might have one for you...

i thought the sublime master  himself might have put one out there, and we could adjust accordingly. us apprentice guys could use the help to get going , i've seen a few guys out there that could use the help too, just a suggestion, i saw were the master charged 132.95 plus parts for center seal plus parts, sounds good to me. does that include service call??????? thanks the BUSCHMAN

You can read about my service call structure here: http://fixitnow.com/wp/2006/01/18/the-samurai-makes-housecalls/

As for fees, it's all flat and quoted on the phone up front. It starts at $139 and goes up depending on the type of appliance (stack laundry, high end, etc.) and distance (the further out, the more I charge). Parts are extra. That's it, no surprises, no gotchas. And if I can't or won't fix it, I don't charge anything. This means you have to screen 'em out pretty good on the phone.

So, oh great one. :notworthy: 'Mapquest' zip code 30157 and quote a rate (in $ or bottles of Pale Ale) for a trip down to the Hotlanta area. I could use an excuse to meet the Grand Master in person. Looks to be roughly 1180 miles from door to door.

My brother, sister and mom still live in Hotlanta area. I haven't visited for a while but have been thinking about flying the Samurai lear jet down for a visit. So getting together for a few brewskis just may be in the future!

Hey strangers - just dropped by for a second to wish you ALL a Merry Christmas and as they say in Washington politcal correctness class 101, Happy Holidays.

This is probably the one that Pegi is talking about, and yes to do have to do some configuring.

I did the same as Pegi.  I made up my own.

But its iinevitable that when you are listing your own you will forget a few repairs jobs to put in your list.  So save it, so when you add the ones you come across that you missed, you can easily add that one in and just print out that one page, and not the entire booklet again :).

You all be well.

When you come down I know this great little steak place called, My House. Also the best Italian place south of NY is here too, it's called.... My House.  There is also a great little seafood place that specializes in grilled items called.. My House. Talk Miss Pegi into coming to town (Stumpawitz's wife will make the sweet tea) and I'll have Old School, ratherbefishin, J-Man and does_what_he_can tending the Bar! OK, Old School will help me on the grill. I'll see if I can switch you over to a refreshing Bombay Sapphire and Tonic with a splash of Roses lime juice and ya never know, could be the start of the Samurai Gin Fund!
