Thermador dishwasher DWHD651JFP/52 after being off for hours, weird power-on behavior/lights.

This dishwasher has been great for a very long time, but just started doing something weird. Normally when I power it on in the evening to run a cycle, you hear some clunking down in the base of the unit like it's checking something, and then it's ready to go.

Now if it's been off all day and I power it on, there are no noises, but the interior blue "glow" lights will flicker a few times and then the Sanitized and Rinse Aid LEDs will both flash in sync. At this point none of the buttons are responsive at all except for the power button to turn it off. Then when I power it back up again it'll be back to normal. There's something about letting it sit turned-off for hours that triggers this weird behavior.

My first guess was that this could be some component dying in the power module (right side of unit), and I replaced it (PN: 00657890). I also replaced the door hall-effect sensor since the GV640A service manual had an error condition similar to what I'm experiencing, that pointed to this sensor being back. Neither of these replacements helped at all. My next best guess would be the control panel itself but being an older model, they seem to sell for $400+ which is a bit stiff to try out without knowing it's the root cause.

I'm hoping maybe this problem sounds familiar to someone on here who might know the root cause. Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide!
