Amana ATB1832ARW Freezer not staying cold (fridge is fine)

Unit: Amana ATB1832ARW Top freezer

Problem: The refrigerator keeps temperature fine . The freezer struggles to stay cold. It hovers around 0-10 F. 

The fan works fine. When I turn the temperature dial and listen, there is no “click” at any point. I am guessing that’s an indication of a thermostat problem? The seal around the freezer door is in good shape. I understand there is a temperature thermostat and a defrost thermostat. I would think if the temperature thermostat was bad, the refrigerator would not be working also?
