A fabricator, but basic experience with gas burners. I built a 3-burner (LPG) cooker and want all-day spark for each 4-ring burner. Q: can I use a stove-top igniter from an old, average kitchen stove with 6 outlets and run two for each burner....all day - or will it wear out? Is there a specific type igniter for this....and if so how powerful (m-volt). Grateful for any input as to how go about this, as well as any specific parts. Cheers.

Not sure I understand the question. You want the igniter to spark continuously 100% of the time regardless of whether there is a flame or not?

What are you tying to accomplish?
