KitchenAid KFEG500EBS6 convection oven cooking temp low - CORRECTED

Recommended Posts

Posted

Being frustrated with how long a dish was cooking on convection mode, I changed to the normal Bake mode. The convection temp had showed 375 for the previous hour. I pressed stop, then Bake. I entered the temp of 375, then Start. Bake mode started, but the oven temp now showed 330. If I understand this correctly, the convection mode was 45 degrees lower than Bake mode. This behavior was consistent with previous experience where convection cooking took longer than expected. However, this was the first time I changed oven modes in the middle of baking. I did not measure the actual temperature in either mode.

 How do I fix this?

Thanks!
