Whirlpool Dishwasher WDTA50SAKZ0, E1 & F6

Hello everyone.  Could anyone give me a starting point?  I have a Whirlpool Dishwasher, maybe two years old.  The other morning I walk out and it is flashing E1 & F6.  Online it says to cut the power to it, wait and see what happens when power is back on.  Well did that and nothing but... flashing E1 & F6.  The model number is:  Whirlpool Dishwasher WDTA50SAKZ0.  We are in a relatively rural area, so a tech's fees are above average even just to diagnose.  When I go online I get a number of different things, but most say the user interface?  If this is correct do I just purchase another UI, replace and hope for the best?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks.
