GE Triton Dishwasher No Pump, Mod#GSD5150F01CC

I am looking a GE Triton dishwasher with a no pump problem. The symptoms are it will fill and circulate but will not pump at any point during the cycle. What is left is a dishwasher full of sudsy water (homeowner is using cascade liquid dishwasher detergent and jet dry glass despotter). I know suds can impede a pump from working correctly, but I would like to eliminate the electrical problems before I go down that road.

I have determined the drain line is clear and believe that I need to verify voltage to the assist pump before I pull the machine out and see if the pump is stuck with debris.

I believe voltage to the pump can be tested at the sequence switch (i.e. timer) during the test cycle matrix. The matrix notes that the auxiliary pump will come on and stay on during steps 6, 7, and 12. So, here are my questions concerning testing the assist pump.

1. Is using the test cycle matrix sufficient for determining volts to the assist pump are accurate and correct or should I test for volts during a normal cycle?

2. The strip diagram shows the drain pump is attached to wiring RX and WR. RX appears to follow PX after the Flood Switch and appears to originate on Black Plug B. I can't seem to locate the point of WR on the wiring diagram where I should place the other probe during the test.  Any idea where I might find it? I tried to attach the wiring diagram but it says there is too much data and won't attach. Can I fax it to you?

3. Would the following assumptions be correct if 120VAC are present at PX and WR during all pump out cycles:

  a. The control panel is OK because volts are moving from there to the timer

  b. The timer is okay because volts are moving from there to the assist pump

  c.  The dishwasher will have to be pulled and the assist pump and check valves will need to be checked because voltage is getting to the assist pump and still is not pumping out. Consequently, there is a jam somewhere.

Thats it. Any other thoughts about if I am missing anything?

Thanks,

Steve

Steve, can you post or fax the wiring diagram so we're all singing from the same page? :dazzler:
