Any idea what this noise from my 7 year old Samsung dryer could be?  There was nothing drying in the dryer that would cause the noise. It seems to be coming from the rear of the dryer.

Check the weld seam along the drum. If the seam has cracked where the drum rollers are, it will make a noise similar to that.
