Whirlpool electric range WFE320M0EW0 - a burner immediately shut offs

Issue with Whirlpool electric range “WFE320M0EW0” a burner shuts offs after being on for 10 sec and then keeps cycling turning on for 1 sec and then 5 sec off.

Eventually not heating the surface.

i changed the switch it didn’t work.

Buy a infrared thermometer at harbor freight and aim it at the burner. I believe the thermostat on the burner cuts out the burner at 1600 degrees to keep the glass from melting. Make sure you got the correct infinite switch for that burner.
