F & P Model WL37T26D - Product 96125-A -- Constant out of balance

It spins out of balance even with small, light loads. I keep rebalancing and taking more out, then eventually reducing the spin speed until it finally completes a wash.

I am wondering whether to replace the rubber straps or the balance rods (or something else). The straps seem very worn out and not very elastic. Should I start with the straps and see if that fixes it?

Having a bit of trouble with the exact model number not coming up with a parts search but I'm assuming it will cross reference with similar numbers.

I have ordered part - 420978P Washer Tub Ring Strap. Is this the correct part for my model?

The suspension rods are more likely to be the off-balance problem.  The tub ring straps are primarily to limit tub twisting during agitation.

the straps dont do much except keep the drum centralised

as above prob gonna need new suspension rods , push down on the drum ,m it should be firm , not a pogo stick

buy parts using the product code

Thanks to both for the replies. I was about to go buy a new machine.

I did press down on the drum and it DOES act exactly like a pogo.

I will give the rods a try. I do like the machine.

Ordered form Amazon through the F & P store for 150. It's an updated version.

Will update when installed

Just ran a load and it spun like a charm. No balance issues. Thanks for saving me money and the install couldn't have been easier!

For the record, I got OEM part # 424495P which is an upgraded version

Oh, and the diagnostic step of pressing down on the drum to see if it pogoes really identified the symptom and reinforced the correct diagnosis
