Hello, our KitchenAid KDFE104HWH0 of maybe 6 years has a dedicated drain that is likely undersized. The dishwasher hasn't been draining completely (drained more consistently when running the tough cycle). We had the dishwasher serviced who said the drain needs to be cleaned. So we had a plumber clear the drain. The draining issue looks to be solved, but I notice that about 2 hours and 20 min into a normal cycle I hear 20 very loud knocks that sounds very wrong but doesn't seem to have any noticable effects. I haven't caught it in the act, but checking the status lights shortly after it happened I saw the washing status light was lit and the cycle continues on without any other issues that I can tell.

Do you guys have any ideas? I presume going into service mode and stepping through cycles would be a good troubleshooting idea, but I forgot how to do that and would appreciate any guidance you may have.

Thanks much!
