I do not have nomenclature for Tappan models so I do not know what type of control it is.  Usually controls are made by either Robertshaw or HarperWyman.  If the control is brought into a appliance parts store, they should be able to match it up if it is a gas tstat, or a low end electric.  High end electric with self clean and bake and broil contacts you might have to go original.

Since repair clinic says it's NLA and have no source for it I don't guess I'll get in trouble.  I googled your T-Stat by the # given.  A-1 appliance parts show it available and in stock for $81.67.  Their # is 1-800-841-0312.........hope this helps

called the # you gave they said they do not have the part or a bin for it....any other suggestions?

The only thing I could suggest would be like T.T.H. said try taking it into an appliance store to try and match it up.....good luck
