Kenmore Model 110.20232711 - not moving through cycle

Hi, thank you to all who read and lend a hand. This is all new to me and I’m grateful for the help.

I recently deep cleaned my kenmore top load washing machine and after putting it back together and in place, it is not progressing through any cycle properly. If I start a normal cycle it will sense, fill, agitate and complete the “wash” part of the cycle, but when it moves to “rinse” nothing happens and the green rinse light blinks. If I start a rinse/spin cycle, the same thing happens: the rinse part of the cycle is completed, but it doesn’t spin and instead the light just blinks.

Below is everything I messed with in my deep clean:
- I tilted the whole lid back to work on the washer, and it squished some of the wiring somewhat.

- I removed the agitator and tub nut

- I attempted to remove the tub but it was fused to the drive nut and transmission, never got it off.
- I unplugged the motor/transmission and removed the pump.

- attempted to remove the whole motor/transmission assembly from the tub; wouldn’t budge.
- bolted the motor assembly back to the tub, put the pump back, plugged everything back in (using my own photos for reference)

- scrubbed both sides of the tub and the inner part of the outer tub quite vigorously

- spray cleaned the tubs while they were still attached to the washer; did my best to keep water off the rest of the washer but definitely sprayed the inside of the washer to some extent

- put it all back together, plugged in and hoses reattached

I know very little about washers or appliances in general; I used various tutorials from the internet to achieve all of this.

I tried to recalibrate the machine but the guide I watched for turning the cycle knob a certain way didn’t work for me.

The lid switch seems to work just fine; most guides I found attributed the issue to the lid switch but I have found this not to be an issue.

Thanks again for any help!
