About a week ago I awoke from my slumber because I heard a humming noise.  I discovered that my dishwasher was the culprit.  The controls/power were off, there was a grinding/humming noise, and a slight burnt smell.  I opened the door and the noise got louder.  I tried to run the dishwasher to see if the noise would go away but it kept going.  So after a few minutes I held down the reset to drain the dishwasher and turn it off.  Still there was the noise.  I had to turn it off at the breaker panel.

The next day I removed the spray arm, internal drain covers/filters, and impeller.  I then turned the circuit on and heard the noise again.  The circulation pump motor was running.  So, my initial research led to replacing the circulation pump motor and capacitor.  I replaced these parts and the spinning stopped.  Now the issue is when the dishwasher runs there isn't enough water pressure to get the spray arms to spin.

When the dishwasher starts a cycle, after the water is in the system, the motor sounds like its trying to start then stops.  this happens about 6 times then the motor sounds like it is spinning but when I check there is only a trickle of water coming from the spray arm.  It is about the same amount of water that you would get from a drinking fountain.

The old motor sounds like the bearings are going bad, when I spin it with my hand there is a grinding noise.  I tested the old and new motors with my multimeter.  I got similar readings. There are 3 options for testing and I would get 20, 15, and 5 ohms.  The capacitor is reading within the acceptable range also.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.
