Amana Dryer: Model NGD5500TQ0 - runs but no heat on any setting

Using Whirlpool Bulkhead exploded view / item numbers, I have checked items 7, 15, 16 each has continuity and resistance is 0.2 ohm.  I was not sure what to test for on item #9 Thermostat and need to go back and check it -What do I test for?   I am guessing checking two pairs of terminals - two terminals with violet leads and the second pair of terminals with red & red/white leads.    I also forgot to check the ignitor function and the gas valve coils resistance.    What else should I look at/for?
