Clothes after spin cycles remain very wet and it seems the washer is spinning at about half speed. Water is pumped out of tub. Occasionally washer produces a sort of grinding noise when it goes from wash to spin cycle. The slower spin speed is consistent.

Suggestions before opening washer up?
