MFI2269VEM7 Cycles off and on

MFI2269VEM7 seems to cycle on and off, but  only sporadically. When this is happening the ice maker lights go off then come back on every few seconds, water dispenser flow stops and starts, interior fan noise stops and starts but interior lights stay on. It will happen for 10 minutes or so then everything goes back to normal.

Thoughts on possible causes or further troubleshooting the next time it happens?

Whirlpool - sorry.

Sounds like the main control board in the back of the unit, part #WPW10312695. It's a pretty common board point of failure and I've seen them dispense water, continually cycle the ice dispenser flapper door back and forth, and even empty the contents of the ice bucket all over the kitchen floor in addition to not running the unit. If you replace it, the new board needs to be programmed to your specific refrigerator and it should include those instructions. If not you can ask here. You can also try unplugging the unit for a few minutes to see if that resets it but it will usually just keep doing the same thing or at some point it will again.
