whirlpool wtw5000dw2 top load fills, agitates, drains then stops, wash light blinks

Like the title says, it fills with water agitates through the cycle, and then gets to drain and spin where it pumps out water in it but wont spin out and wash light just blinks

When I put it in diagnostic mode, I was able to get it to spin , let's just not doing it in automatic

Point worth noting most likely unrelated, but the dampener rods need to be replaced in this. It shakes violently when spinning out, which is a common problem from what i've researched

Also, the lidlock switch was damaged when my son opened it while the lid was locked so I did a lidlock, bypass by jumping the blue and white wire coming out of the plug  for lid lock switch

If anyone can help would be greatly appreciated

After a little further research, i've come to the realization that I have an f5 e2 error code

Apparently, it did not like the way I bypassed the lidlock switch

Is there a better way to do this without replacing the switch

Again, I cut the blue wire and the white wire and connected them
