Whirlpool Electric Dryer LER4634PQ0 Makes Humming Noise and Won't Start

Hi - I have a Whirlpool electric dryer model #LER4634PQ0 that makes a humming noise when attempting to start. This is the same sound that it always made right before it started. I checked the motor to make sure that there wasn't any lint attached anywhere that might have been preventing it from starting up as usual, and there wasn't any.

Any suggestions for getting this working again would be appreciated!

I tested the motor and it was drawing more than 6 amps. Due to the age of the dryer my son decided that he would replace the whole thing rather than just the motor.

Thanks for your help!!
