GE PYE22PYNCFS ice maker stopped making ice

Hi, My ice maker stopped making ice. The water won't fill. I see the error codes 00 06 followed by 00 1o followed by 00 1d

I cleared the codes and the same codes returned. I ran 00 99 which is a "FF Door Icemaker Full Cycle Test" and it did not fill the ice maker or make ice. Not sure if I order a new ice maker if that will fix the problem.

Pull the main water line off the rear of the unit at the push connect fitting , usually I think this style has one if not just find a spot.

Your checking to see if the main valve in the rear or "isolation valve" is functioning.

So grab a large glass ,bowl etc and be ready to catch water and then have someone try to dispense water or better yet run the ice maker water valve test.

If a water valve fails its genera.ly the main isolation valve because it catches the crud before it's filtered out, water supplies are generally going to crud this valve up once every few years.
