Dishwasher keeps tripping breaker

We have an LG dishwasher (about 2 years old), used about 5-7 times per week.

Now it started tripping the breaker. I started troubleshooting it, but so far I could not find the issue. Here is what I've done so far :

  • Plugged the dishwasher in a different outlet/circuit (also 20amp)
  • Reset the dishwasher (unplugged power, holding start button down for 5 seconds, applying power again, reset confirmed by all lights turning on)
  • Checked for leaks, no water underneath the machine or in the pump sink.
  • If the machine is sitting over night, it seems to be working for a little longer before it trips the breaker. If I immediately reset the breaker and try again it kind of trip right after starting a cycle.
  • It never trips the breaker while just sitting there on standby.

I am assuming something is overheating. Has anyone experienced this before ?

Thanks for your help !
