My Sunbeam 900w microwave has power to all functions. The problem is that the microwaves are not flowing. Nothing is heating up. I checked the door safety latches and appear to be functioning properly. All inputs from the control panel inputs appear to be functioning.

There are several reasons why it may not be heating (bad magnetron, high voltage capacitor, rectifier diode, bad door switch, bad high voltage transformer, open thermal fuse, bad control board, etc. and some of those can hurt you if you don't know what you are doing!!  So unless you have a multi-meter and are experienced with working on microwaves, I would highly advise against going any further!

Given the lower cost of these countertop units, you'd probably be better off just replacing it anyway due to part cost (unless it's just a blown fuse or something simple but you'd still have to get inside of it to test, which can be dangerous).

Thank you citizenX. It's good advice to let sleeping dogs lay and get a new one. Happy New Year!
