Looking for SERVICE MANUAL for GNE29GYNGFS, I already have the MINI MANUAL

Manufacturer: GE

Type of Appliance: Refrigerator

Model Number: GNE29GYNGFS

Problem Statement (State what is the appliance doing that it should not be doing, and what it's not doing that it should be doing.): I have the mini manual but need the service manual for this appliance.

What diagnostics have you already done?: The compressor needs replacement on this unit and I am trying to find specific information on this unit.

The only bit of information I want to check myself on with this situation is either to charge the high or the low side after replacing the compressor. I am confident with my abilities up to the point of charging this DUAL EVAP system until I get to the charging portion. I think LG recommends charging the HIGH side in some of their models so I want to make sure I have the correct information before doing this repair so I am looking for the service manual but can only find the Mini Manual.

I have moved this topic to the Manual Request forum, as that is the correct place for it.

I can't find a manual for this model number -- just the mini manual. There may not be a full service manual published for it. Anyone else have something?

Thank you 😁 do you know if I charge low or high side?

You can charge either high or low side on any sealed system. High side is faster because you’re charging as a liquid and compressor doesn’t have to be running. Low side is slow because you’re charging as vapor and compressor must be running.

Ok yes, thank you. I should have worded that better. Is there a preferred method for you to charging a dual evap?

I always prefer charging high side. But dual evap or not, this doesn't affect how you charge. It does affect how you pull a vacuum on the system. 3-way needs to be open to both evaporators before pulling vac.

I did find a manual for this model platform:
