Whirlpool duet washer wfw87hedw1 E1 F9 (slow drain) error

I have been getting the E1 F9 slow drain error on my Whirlpool duet washer wfw87hedw1.  I cleaned out the drain filter.  There was a lot of change/debris in there.  I put the cleaned out filter back in the machine but I am still getting the error.  I snaked the drain pipe but that didn't seem to fix it either.  If I unplug the machine for a while and then set it to drain and spin it will pump at least some of the water out and unlock the door.  When I spin the drum manually I can hear a little water still there.  I was going to replace the pump but if it still pumps at least some of the water out after being unplugged I wasn't sure if that was the issue.

Any idea what I should try next?  Check the other hoses for blockage?  Or could this be a control board issue?

As always, your advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Matt

It's possible there could be an obstruction in the tub-to-pump hose. Pull that off and check both sides. If possible, reach in the tub from where the hose connects and see if you can feel anything in there. If that all checks out okay, go ahead and replace the pump.

There is no hose between the pump and the drum on this model.  I replaced the pump but still getting the E1 F9 error.

Nevermind.  I'm a moron and didn't plug in the electrical connection.  All set now.
