This is an electric dryer--the clothes are still damp at the end of the cycle so I have to run them an extra 15-20 minutes.

I'll go check the vent. Gotta learn to read those FAQs first.

Vent will likely be the culprit. If not post back with findings

seemingly makes sense- as the vent restricts,the performance of the dryer is reduced
