Hi, not sure if this is a me issue, but the search wildcard * doesn't seem to be working currently.

I was looking for a manual for BC36CT80SNB, so I put in BC36CT80* and BC36*, no results. When I searched for it on Google however, this post came up, which is an exact model number match:

Looks like you have an extra C in there as the second character of the model number. If you remove that, you should pull up results.

When I search with a truncated form of the model number like B36CT8*, I get the expected results.

Duh, that explains it! Thank you, and I apologize.

It's not foolish or frivolous to post these kind of questions here. If you had a question about how the site works, typically 10 other people did, too, So it was a good question from both you and them!

The software that runs this site, Invisionboard, is very sophisticated with dozens of subtle user features available to you right now that you probably haven't used. So If anyone else has any question at all about getting the most out of Appliantology, this Site Orientation forum is the place to ask. Just start a new topic in this forum and we're happy to help!
