Breverns, I just learned today that we lost a prolific contributor of appliantological wisdom and our friend, Terry Carmen, after succumbing to brain cancer. May God grant him a peaceful repose and comfort to those he left behind, especially his wife, Stephanie. Here is his obituary: https://www.sisskindfuneralservice.com/home/display.php?id=3286

Some part of Terry will live on here at Appliantology with his many posts helping other techs. I will especially miss his wit and humor. Rest in peace, Terry!

I really appreciate that he communicated a lot with us in his final months. His positive attitude and humor were inspiring! RIP Terry.

That's very sad news. Terry always brought wisdom and great sense of humor and always brightened up my day. Will definitely miss him!

Oh man, as we find ourselves saying often in this line of work, they don't make em like they used to!  A true direct drive washer of a guy. Eventually that day comes that you can't keep it going and have to get a new one though. Next time you lift a toast pour some out for the dead homies.

This is just terrible news. Terry was a great help to me and many others on here for many years. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
