Looking for this item, we ordered one from an online company through Amazon, but it got lost en route and we had to cancel for a refund. I have seen on other sites that the part is unavailable. Can someone please advise? The part that is malfunctioning is the rinse aid dispenser. The arrow inside that can be adjusted keeps reverting back to the lowest setting, and the top doesn't snap closed. It does hold closed, but rather loosely.

The part number we ordered was 00490467. It was slightly different from the one on our dishwasher. This part shows a clear window to view rinse aid level, but our original doesn't have the window, just a little circle. Any help with this is appreciated very much. -Tanya

My unofficial lookup gives me the same part number. I would trust it, it is not unusual for dispensers to get changed/modified over time.  Replacements can have different doors, different markings, sometimes even different colors.  The part numbers can also change over time, old numbers get substituted to new numbers which is exactly what happened on your dispenser

Thank you for your reply. Sadly, I can't seem to get the part anywhere.
