GE washer/dryer model GUD27ESSMWW bad pressure sensor?

GE washer/dryer model GUD27ESSMWW never agitates, but spins. Using diagnostic display, appears the pressure sensor is never sensing water level rising when filling. Removed front panel, the pressure chamber fills but is also very discolored (contaminated by incompletely rinsed fabric softener?) Blowing gently into the pressure tube while in diagnostic mode still doesn't change the light level displayed (but did shut off the fill if blowing too hard). I would think this means the sensor IS sensing, so why don't the lights change? Is it possible the chamber is so contaminated it's interfering with the sensing? I'd think that 1-2" water column is so slight that ANY pressure change would be sensed. Before ordering a control board, hoping for someone else's experience with the unit. Thanks.

Make sure the tubing is clear as well as where it attaches to the air dome on the bottom of the outer tub. The discoloration is soap/fabric softener gookus that likes to build up and can indeed affect the air pressure in the tube. Get all that cleaned out and blow back through the hose from the top down and make sure it is all clear.

Blew through the tube from the top, rather than the bottom, and felt something "give" with suddenly increased air flow. After re-assembling, the fill sense works and the machine agitates. Thank you!

Excellent! Glad it wasn't anything more serious. Boards are spendy!
