For the past few months, I have had an issue with my GE refrigerator's ice maker. When I close the freezer door and the door switch is activated, a small amount of water enters the ice maker. This happens every time the door is closed. But the ice maker doesn't actually fill or run regularly. I thought it was the water inlet valve, which i replaced. That did not solve the issue. I also replaced the filter but no luck. When the door switch is activated (while I have the door open), I can see the green light on the ice maker and it sounds like it is working. Any suggestions?
