Our KitchenAid KFEG500EBS6 won't heat to the requested temp. For example, if we set the conventional oven temperature to 350F, it seems to get stuck at 260 and the display says "Pre-heating". At other times, we might set it to 350 and the display shows 350, but the food takes abnormally long to heat up. So, we turn it off, set the bake temp to 350, press Start and then the display will show a much lower temperature, and "Pre-heating". It then seems to heat to the requested temperature.

Any suggestions will help.

check the heating element or igniter or the temp sensor
