Amana Refrigerator Wont Cool Down - (Model # TM17TBW - Serial#: 9610225330 - MFG NO#: P1305901WW)

Hello all,

First, I like to thank you all in advance for your help and guidance. Please forgive me if I post incorrectly.

I have an old Amana refrigerator that has stopped cooling down. I have done the following and still cannot get the compressor to fire up:

1. Checked compressor pins for continuity (beeping ohmmeter) and all 3 pins work,

2. I have replaced the overload relay (see photos of the relay kit),

3. I have replaced the refrigerator defrost timer (see photo of defrost timer), and

4. I have replaced the run capacitor (see capacitor photo),

I still cannot get the compressor to run. I hear it clicking but it won't turn over. After a few minutes, the top of the compressor starts to get hot, and it still won't turn on.

I HAVE NOT changed the Defrost Thermosets yet. I have tested it, and my ohmmeter shows proper reading (see attached photo of Defrost Thermostat).

I'm pulling out what's left of my hair trying to figure this thing out. I greatly appreciate any advice/wisdom/knowledge you can pass on to me.

Thank you all
