Simple Problem!--Which filter size for my Comfortmaker furnace?

My new house has a Comfortmaker Enviroplus 90 furnace and when I went to open it up and see which filter I needed to replace....it didn't have one in it!  Nor is there an owner's manual around the house.  I went to the Comfortmaker website, but there is no product literature, or contact number.  How can I find out what size filter fits in that booger?

Thx!

There might not even be a filter in or near the furnace. It could be in the air return grilles. A filter is something left to the installer's discretion, I have seen some systems installed with no filter. Take a good look around and report what you find.

There is a filter outside the furnace where the cold air return comes in, but there is a slot for a "disposable" filter inside the furnace down near the blower.  Looks like there's been one in there before.

Can you post some pics?

Post your model number and we can tell you what was shipped with the unit. Not exactly relevant though, the filter rack installed in the return air duct is sufficient. They are installed that way to make the filter easier to change.
