Speed Queen AWN432SP113TW04 Stopped mid cycle, not working

The machine stopped mid cycle while filling with water and then was unresponsive. I could push in and twist and pull out the timer/start knob but nothing ever happened.

I did troubleshooting on multiple components: the lid switch, the pressure sensor, the hot/cold switch, the solenoids. I tested the parts with continuity while opening/closing them and also by checking the downstream wire for 120v being switched on or off. All of those parts tested OK. I didn’t test anything inside the cabinet except for the motor capacitor.

This whole time the timer never ticked or made a sound. Even when I spin it to a different cycle or part of the cycle. The timer motor with two black wires did not have continuity, which I thought meant it was bad. First I bought a replacement motor only (the round part with two black wires). When that didn’t work, I bought an entire timer module. That didn’t work either. Both of these items were from appliance stores on ebay so I guess there's a chance they were both defective. I thought about buying a timer direct from alliance, but I don’t want to buy the same part three times when the first two didn’t work.

I thought everything pointed to the timer but now I’m not sure.

Any advice or what to do next.
