Kenmore front loader 417.42142100

This front loader (made by Kelvinator according to the "Who Made My Kenmore" article on this site) has a bit of a squeak when washing. It really gets noisy when spinning. After taking the back off of it and checking that the pulley was good and tight, I came to the conclusion that it is the bearing that is making that noise.

With nothing in the tub, and the belt unhooked, you can turn the tub and hear it "squeak". However, it also feels like the tub is "loose" - it has a lot of "slop". I only have service information on Whirlpool appliances, but looking at the diagram from the sears website, it looks as if the bearing is located in the rear shell, so I would have to order the rear shell to get the bearing.

Has anyone else worked on one of these? It looks very much like a Duet washer once I got the back off of it. But I've never had to replace a bearing on a duet either. So any help would greatly be appreciated.
