Since I had the camera out, I thought I'd share a shot of my newly completed home appliance repair training lab. I had a bunch of utilities installed in the basement so I could git me some of dat hands on lernin' an stay out da wife's way and not be foolin wit her "perfectly good working" appliances upstairs.

From left in pic: drain vent pipe, drain stand pipe (mostly obscured by ultimate technical reference laptop), hot water, cold water, new 20 amp 120V circuit (no GFCI on this bad boy), new 60 amp 240V circuit with a subpanel runing a 30 amp breaker on a dryer outlet and 50 amp breaker on range outlet, natural gas.

Cool!!  Except for all of that black smoke on the wall around the wall outlet!!  :P

The black smoke only happens when the laptop is plugged into that outlet, and fixitnow.com is loaded into the web browser. I think all the appliance repair knowledge really taxes the celeron powerd machine, and the outlet just kind of overheats.

LOL, funny.....:D

I think it's from the extreme data transfer rate as you're downloading the information from the screen into your brain.  Try reading slower and see if the temperature decreases.  If it does, replace the computer:groucho:

I just noticed your photo-- great use of the computer!   :dude:

Like Pavlov proved with his dog experiment, humans can be condionted too. Sure, I don't typically salivate when I hear a bell, but I am conditioned to right clicking. I'd just get frustrated with only one mouse button. Besides, isn't the guy on the left in the attachment more cool anyway......?
