Anyone know how to access the pump on these machines?

I have a complaint that the tub is full of water and when the homeowner turns it on they hear a noise like the pump is trying to start but then nothing happens (i.e the water remains).

You'll have to lay it on it's back to get to the pump.  You'll need the service manual for this one, budrow, they can be a nightmare to work on.  Page 44 shows the pump and other components that are accessed underneath.
