I have 4 zone heating and 1 of the zone thermostats also run the AC.  I cannot get the A/C unit to do anything when I turn it to cool and lower the temp.  The fan will not even go on. I spent 1/2 on the phone (hold mostly) with a person from Hunter Thermostats that tells me it is the AC unit, not the thermostat-imagine that?  I can turn on the furnace with the other zone thermostats around the house but I can't turn it on with the one that controls the AC and a heating zone.  I checked all the breakers 4 times.  new batteries in thermostat..............Is there a reset button on these systems?

Do you have forced air heat or some kind of boiler? Do you have 24vac coming to the t-stat from the A/C air handler or just from the boiler? Start trouble-shooting your way back from the t-stat.
