Can the motor or thermostat be replaced in this icemaker?

When I first checked this icemaker, I found that the heater was on as I was grabbing it to remove it. After touching the icemaker, it started cycling and dumped the ice that was in there. So it seems to me that something was in a bind or the motor was stuck. Anyway, I'm thinking the motor may be bad, but I also want to check the t-stat also.

But I want to see if these parts can be ordered before I go any further, or do I have to order the whole thing?

Thanks.

On the IM6 the only things that can be replaced are the plastic paddle and from what I have read the thermostat, however I do not know how to get that part number for you....we just replace the whole ice maker if it bites the dust...:?
