Haven't been out to look at it yet, going tomorrow. Guy says it won't fill. Never worked on an Asko dw before, anyone got a service manual or anything special I should know about Asko? Didn't see a manual on Xdrive.

Also was curious if Asko is anything like Bosch, with a big fat peice of plastic right behind the kick panel obsucring most of the fill valve?

The parts manual is for the stainless steel model.  Several tech bulletins on this one but none for the no-water complaint.

Gracias amigos. Operationally I could find no problems with the DW. The slolonoid was getting juice, but the water flow into the machine was just a small trickle. No kink in fill line (It was a pex line that he said actually came with the machine), no buildup at all on the inlet screen. Good water pressure at the house valve.

Customer (who is also a freind) wanted me to order a new fill valve and said he is "sure its the valve". So is it ok to be a parts changing moneky when the guy is your buddy and he won't be mad if the new valve doens't do the trick?

Sounds like you've done your due diligence; change that valve, Budrow.

Valve has been ordered, received, and installed. The DW's inlet stream now flows as fast and pure as a urinal in a men's room full of drunken sailors. Thanks ya'll.
