Looking to buy a programable thermostat what is a good brand at a decent price ?

Honeywell makes a wide range of models and has been the big name in the HVAC industry for many years. Get the model with the features you want, it should pay for itself in energy savings rather quickly.

Unless you, like 95% of my customers, set it for 72° and press "Hold Temp".
